The HV Houses winner for this term was announced in assembly this week. Well done to team Peacock for earning 2592 points. The house captains handed out the winning team their star badge prize today. Well done to all of the teams - you collected 9,899 points altogether !

The school council would like to thank everyone who took part in their Christmas raffle. They drew the raffle this morning and have phoned all of the lucky winners to let them know the prizes are ready to collect.

Following the school council’s review of the more sustainable and environmentally friendly version of whiteboard pens, Mrs Stephenson has bought a set for the children in Y6 to trial. We look forward to hearing what Y6 think of them.

We finished last week with an amazing Christmas sing along with the children in Y5 and 6. We were even treated to a solo performance from one of our Y6 pupils. Thank you Y5 and Y6 - your singing definitely got us all in the Christmas spirit.

The School Council met with Mrs Stephenson this morning to test out a more environmentally alternative to the traditional whiteboard pens. The children felt the new pencils were easy to write with, easy to rub out and less messy.
